Website design: Nonprofit.
Websites, digital products, branding and design, built for the people who use them.
Prolific Digital creates websites, branding and design for nonprofits and foundations. A nonprofit site serves several people at once: the people it exists for, the donors and funders who keep it going, and the staff who keep it current with little time to spare. Each of them needs to see quickly what the organization does and what to do next.
For the Brown-Forman Foundation, we built a website that makes its grants easier to find and apply for. For EKCEP, which connects job seekers in Eastern Kentucky with work, we set the strategy, wrote the copy and designed the site. We gave the American Cancer Society’s Purses, Pouts, & Pearls fundraiser its own brand. And for the American Printing House for the Blind, we maintain and secure its WordPress and WooCommerce platform, with integrations to SysPro and SAP, for an organization whose work is access for people who are blind or visually impaired.
Questions
Questions nonprofits ask.
Yes. We built the Brown-Forman Foundation’s website, designed EKCEP’s site for job seekers in Eastern Kentucky, created the brand for the American Cancer Society’s Purses, Pouts, & Pearls fundraiser, and maintain the American Printing House for the Blind’s WordPress and WooCommerce platform.
Yes. The Brown-Forman Foundation’s new website was built to make its grants easier to find and apply for. When applications need more than a form, such as accounts, saved progress or review, we build them as a web app connected to the site.
It depends on who runs the site, what it connects to and how it needs to grow. We build on WordPress, Drupal, Next.js, Payload CMS and P1, Pantheon’s new CMS, and we recommend one after discovery, not before.
Yes. We design and build to WCAG 2.2 AA from the first wireframe, then test with keyboards and screen readers before launch. For a nonprofit, the people least able to use an inaccessible site are often the people it serves.
Yes. We host on SOC 2–compliant platforms and look after monitoring, security updates, support and improvements when you need us, as we do for the American Printing House for the Blind.
