Free online whiteboard: Draw it out.
A big blank board for site maps, wireframes and the workshop you’re running at ten. No account, nothing to install. It stays in this browser until you clear it.

Ideas to start from
Sketch a site map.
Home, the pages under it and the ones under those. The fastest way to see what a site is missing.
Wireframe a page.
A browser window with a header, a hero and three cards. Move the boxes until the page makes sense.
Plan a workshop.
Goals, an agenda and a parking lot, on sticky notes you can drag around while you talk.
Good to know
It lives in this browser.
The board is saved in this browser’s storage on this device, and only there. No account, no share link, and we never see it. To move it somewhere else, save it as a file and open it there.
Take it with you.
The menu at the top left of the board saves a PNG or SVG for slides and docs, or a .excalidraw file you can open here again later.
Scrolling past it.
The page scrolls over the board until you click into it. Then the wheel pans and zooms the board. Full screen gives it the whole window.
About accessibility.
A drawing canvas is hard to make fully accessible, and this one isn’t. Every tool has a keyboard shortcut (“Shortcuts” above the board lists them), and an SVG export keeps the words on the board as real text. Everything around the board, from the buttons to the starters, is built to WCAG 2.2 AA. If something gets in your way, tell us.
Questions
Whiteboard, explained.
Yes. There’s no account, no trial and no watermark on what you export. Draw as much as you like.
In this browser’s local storage, on this device. It isn’t sent to us or anyone else. Clearing your browser’s site data, or drawing in a private window, removes it, so save a .excalidraw file of anything you want to keep.
Not here. There’s no live collaboration and no share links, because nothing leaves your browser. Send a PNG, or send the .excalidraw file and they can open it on this page in their own browser.
Open the menu at the top left of the board. “Export image” makes a PNG or SVG, with or without the background. “Save to” downloads a .excalidraw file, and “Open” brings one back onto the board.
The dark board shows every colour shifted darker, so a yellow note doesn’t glare off a black screen. The colours themselves don’t change: switch to the light board, or export with “Dark mode” off, and you get them exactly.
Yes. Draw with a finger or a stylus, pinch to zoom, and use Full screen to hide the rest of the page. A bigger screen is still nicer for a site map.
