The Glendronach

The Glendronach Distillery, founded in 1826, is one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries and is located near Forgue, in the Highland whisky district. Known for its full-bodied, richly sherried single malts, Glendronach is a favorite among connoisseurs who appreciate its time-honored production methods and exceptional quality. Our role was to create a new digital experience that showcased Glendronach’s rich heritage and iconic identity, while also making the brand accessible to a global audience in an engaging and meaningful way.

New Digital Experience

We developed a new digital experience for The Glendronach, working closely with their brand guidelines to maintain the distinct, heritage-focused identity of the distillery. The website was designed to support multiple major markets globally, with adaptable font pairings and regional content flexibility to ensure consistent messaging across different languages and audiences. Our design aimed to highlight the distillery’s craftsmanship and sherry-cask tradition through impactful visuals and a refined, classic aesthetic.

Prolific Digital offers great communication and excels at adhering to schedules. They’re very clear and communicate any delays upfront. Moreover, they’ve worked hard to ensure that we meet all the important deadlines. We communicate over Google Meet once per week.

Prolific Digital has been amazing to work with. They’re incredibly collaborative and have become an integral part of our business at this stage. Age Gate Implementation

As part of compliance with legal regulations for alcoholic beverages, we implemented an age gate to verify users’ legal drinking age before accessing the site. This feature provided a smooth and compliant browsing experience, ensuring only those of legal age could explore the brand.

It’s impressive how well Prolific Digital has integrated into the Brown-Forman business. The project obviously requires more than the brand design; it also requires getting things set up on the backend. Still, Prolific Digital works very well across our business and collaborates well with our IT team, establishing a very seamless process.
